In BIT, we made a powerpoint about ourselves called All About Me
During BIT, most of my time spent was on this particular project. It was the most significant project of the 9 weeks and I learned a ton about powerpoints. I learned a bunch of custom animations I could use. I also found it fun to learn how to format backgrounds and put in different pictures. On the other hand, it was very difficult to create the tables and charts but I worked very hard on it and finished it. Next time, I will choose my fonts more wisely because sometimes you could not see the words. My next step is to learn how to make better backgrounds and create more complicated custom animation.
Demonstrates growth and competence in: public presentation of self, interpersonal relationships (peers, family, teachers, mentors), public speaking
For the 1st nine weeks, I got a very good grade on my oral presentation.
I spent over a week practicing this speech and it paid off in the end. I got a 94% on the speech, proving I am a decent public speaker. It was very difficult to memorize some of the lines but it was exciting to finally present. Next speach, I will use more eye contact and speak more fluently. I will also be much more prepared.
Demonstrates growth and competence in: workplace expectations/skills/abilities, workplace resources, collaboration and teamwork, decision making, problem solving, creativity, navigating the community, civic engagement (leadership, social skill, politeness, task skill, helpfulness, diversity, clarity, success of outcomes)
In History, we made a road trip
This project was my favorite one of the year for any class. My group spent many weeks creating all the parts of the project. I had to analyze and solve the journal entries. I also looked at the weather and climates of Erie and chose the stoppovers. Our group worked very well together and got a 199/200. The only thing we would have done differently is change the way we researched and worked on everything together.

I found a very accurate website called the history place.
For every project I did this year, I used the website called the History Place. It is very accurate and it has first hand information. I found vital information here and it helped me get good grades on my projects, including other classes. Next time I will use many more resources though including books. The thing I would have done differenty was compare it to other websites. But this is a very reliable source, showing my skills with researching.
